Sandra Langner

I am Sandra and I’m so excited to join the Optimal Massage family! I found my passion for teaching yoga rather late in life after being a yoga student for many years. Working with special needs children as my full time job, I have often relied on yoga to balance out the stress this job can bring with it. Initially, I entered the 200 Hour YTT (Yoga Teacher Training) just to deepen my own practice, but I realized that I wanted to help people find relief from their stressful lives and help prevent burn out. Initially trained in Vinyasa, this passion only deepened further when I found Jillian Pransky and her restorative yoga teacher training. For me, yoga is a break from the stressful world, recognizing and releasing tension in the body and finding ways toward a more calm and peaceful life. My hope for my students is that they not only enjoy their time with me on their mats, but they will also learn techniques that they can implement off the mat to help them meet stressors in life with more ease.
