Matthew was first drawn to massage therapy when his own self-care regimen led him to explore physiology and ancient practices of healing. He became fascinated with the energies of the body and decided to enter the bodywork industry professionally.
Matthew thrives at Optimal, which he calls “the epitome of a loving, accepting, and fun family-type environment.” Clients seek out Matthew for his ability to listen to what the body needs. A natural empath, his goal is to lead each person to a sense of completeness and resolve during their session. Matthew is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and holds a degree in reiki.
Matthew’s practice is guided by one simple vision: to have a meaningful and positive impact on people. He is motivated by seeing others take positive action for themselves and promotes self-care of all kinds. His ability to remain in the present allows him to quickly pinpoint and fully address issues of pain and discomfort for his clients.
While not working, Matthew can be found curled up with a good book and his two dogs or getting lost in the woods. He feels a deep connection with animals, nature, and the people in his life, and looks forward to forging many new relationships along his journey at Optimal.
