Kristin Brown
Kristin is a former professional ballet dancer, teacher and choreographer, and certified athletic trainer. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training and completed a 500 hour comprehensive Pilates certification. She is currently the Head Pilates Instructor at the University of Pennsylvania and an instructor at Club Pilates. Most recently, Kristin attended a continuing education workshop, Pilates for Breast Cancer Recovery with BASI Pilates in addition to a Pilates for Pregnancy workshop with Rachael Bridgens.
Kristin brings 30 years of experience instructing dance, movement, and conditioning to her Pilates practice. Her teaching experience includes leading movement classes for the Dance for Parkinson’s Disease program and she has been on the faculty of Eastern University and the University of the Arts. Pilates is a wonderful tool for physical and mental health and was imperative in her recovery and rehabilitation from two total hip replacements and lumbar spine surgery. Pilates is for everyone, the exercises are adaptable, accessible, and restorative in nature. Give it a try, you will feel amazing!
